When'd it get so hard?

Damn I am struggling. The good news is I'm not gaining, but the bad news is I am not losing anything either.

After reading some of my old posts, I am amazed at how awesome I did for such a long time there. I had it down. I knew what to do, and I just did it. There was no other option in my mind. I was driven by some pure crazy determination.

So what happened? I took some time off, gained a little (10lbs) over about 6 months. Then I decided to get rid of that 10lbs, which thankfully I did. And now I am stuck around 170, which is 20 lbs away from my original goal to lose 100 lbs, bringing me to 150.

I have 20 lbs to lose. Which since I already lost 80, shouldn't feel so overwhelming.

I know what I need to do. Trust me, I have read every diet book on the shelves, countless fitness magazines and through this blog, met so many people with great weight loss ideas. It is not a matter of not knowing what to do. It's just doing it.

Somehow it got hard again. (That's what she said...) I think the fact that I took time off, undoing all my newly learned good habits, took me back to square one. I have to make all those healthy habits into actual habits again.

It's always been hard! You should be totally proud for how far you've come.

I, like you, am still trying to shake the last twenty, and have been for years. It's not a race, we'll get there eventually and we'll live a lot along the way.

Great job getting off the pounds you regained. It is hard to get back in the groove but I try to take it day by day and break it up into manageable pieces.

It takes some planning in the beginning and structure but eventually you will ease right back into routine! Good luck!

You will get there. Realizing you need to get back on track is the biggest huddle.

I am at the same place as you. I'm struggling to get the rest of the weight I have to lose off, also. I don't know what has changed, but it seems so much harder now!

I can't thank you enough for all that you have done for me. About a year ago I my partner split up, we had both made BIG mistakes in our relationship. He ended up moving away from me to pursue a new life. I knew in my heart that he would be the only one to make me happy. I was relieved when I found your email on a site about what you have done. I requested 1 to 2 day casting of the reunite us love spell and within 3days mark company had relocated him back to our hometown where I still lived. We immediately reconnected and move in with each other. Our wedding date is set for Summer 2012. Expect to see your invite in the mail!.thanks to upesaspelltemple@yahoo.com

I had the same problem losing my last 14 lbs. I spoke to my dietitian and she told me to lower my calories a little more, and also use a diuretic to flush any excess water out of my system. This worked a treat :)

I also had water retention after losing some weight. The doctor gave me some bits and bobs and the swelling just went. I was so happy with the results and could actually see my effort paying off.

At least you are consciously aware that you need to get back on track, that's the first step :)

Hopefully you have made some progress since you wrote this post.

You should be so proud of how far you've come, and remember to bounce, don't break :)

Maybe I don't understand you of everything. But I want to be able to pay attention to you.
