Eating too little?

Lately, I have been eating really well and am wondering if I am doing good or bad... I'm doing WW and I get 33 pts a day. Usually I don't use weekly pts unless I'm going out or its a social thing.  But like today, for example, I ate 22 pts. I know they say its bad to eat too little, but I was never hungry.

Here's what I ate today. What do you think?

I am loving my smoothies lately. This one was a green smoothie (with a cup of spinach, a banana, frozen berries and vanilla yogurt) but it's technically not green. I guess the berries overpowered the spinach. Still 1 pt and still good! I also had a cup of Cinnamon Cheerios (3 pts).
For lunch, I had a turkey rollup with just a tortilla, turkey and cheese for 4 points and some grapes.
Later in the afternoon, I had the same chopped shrimp/ zucchini/ summer squash medley, this time with Adobo seasoning. 1 point and really filling, I love it!
Dinner was a burger and fries... the burger was with 95/5 ground beef (3 pts), a wheat bun (2 pts) and string cheese (2 pts). The fries were from a sweet potato (4 pts). Sweet potatoes are hard to cut! And kinda hard to cook in the oven... I used to deep fry them, but sadly no more.
And then I had low fat, sugar free cheesecake pudding (1 pt) with fat free whipped cream (0 pts). Last time I used full fat cheesecake pudding, so I was happy to see the LF, SF version in the store. This is by far my fave. Great, low cal dessert!

Attitude of Gratitude: I am grateful to have the time and motivation to really work on my weight loss goals right now, because when life gets busier, these new habits I'm making will be ingrained and hopefully easy to stick to.

One thing I've learned to help a LOT with fat loss is to take fish oil caps. Your body needs a constant source of fat to burn fat. Fish oil might help you :)

Forgot to add:

When you're on a low-calorie diet, you've GOT to take some fat. Low-cal diets usually get your body clinging on to fat and burning protein and carbs. You want to be burning fat.

Yeah, I agree with Marc, though I am clearly not any kind of expert. Maybe add some almonds?

Some people in my meeting were asking the same thing and what was suggested is not to eat less than 29 points per day. To help this happen they suggested not eating anymore food but having regular yogurt instead of fat-free and so on...Might be worth a try!

If your food is nutrient dense, sometimes you'll be less hungry. Don't even worry about it!

*lol* There will be advice for and against almost every single eating habit on the planet. Thought I'd add my 2 cents:

* Fish oil can do miracles for your joints and your cardiovascular system. I haven't had any good/bad experience with it concerning weight loss, but it doesn't hurt to try it, either.

* I'd have thought that with turkey, shrimps and beef you'd have enough oil in your diet, as I assume you also use vegetable oil to cook things. Check with a nutritionist if you are not sure. (Almonds, however, do make a tasty snack when you're hungry, and they can go a long way. Plus, they contain potassium and vitamin D.)

* My personal diet contains more fruit and raw veggies, but that is possibly only a matter of taste. (^v^)

* BUT I'd choose regular stuff over "low-fat", "low-cal" or "low-sugar" every time. Especially since they are digging up scary stuff about artificial sweeteners at the moment. And it's less expensive most of the time. (I am using reduced-fat cheese and yogurt, though.)

See? Every person you meet will tell you a new strategy on what (not) to eat, when (not) to eat it and so forth. You can try many things and follow their advice for a while, but in the end you will have to decide for yourself which strategies work and which don't. And it always helps to learn more about the metabolic processes inside your body.

(Your food plans look great. Really. Lots of fruit and vegetables, no junk, reasonable portions - I think you are doing great, and as long as you're losing weight... go for it. ^^ )

Some days I dont make it to all of my points either, but I am making better choices and I am not hungry, which I think is the most important thing.

Food looks great. I do agree with Marc that we require some healthy fats for our bodily functions. I find with the new program, because I'm eating healthy, non-processed real foods that I'm having difficulties using all my points. But at least they are there. I'm certainly not going to eat them if I'm not hungry, but I am also aware of keeping my metabolism stoked.

I wouldn't want to get to a point where I had to eat 1,000 calories to lose or maintain weight. I guess I want to eat as much as I can (healthy stuff) and still lose weight. Sorry about the though babble.

Everything looks great. I'm with Darla- eat as much as you can, while you can, and still lose weight. So we lose weight, we will gradually have to eat less and less- so the more you can eat not and still lose weight- the better.

All of your food looks amazing! I need to stick to a menu like yours. When do you find time to grocery shop for all the good stuff?

Hmmm - maybe adding a fiber rich carb, like brown rice or whole wheat pasta with lunch? Also, I agree with the other commenters that you should add a healthy oil. Natural oil, like olive, canola, or sunflower seed oil into your smoothie would be great - and all you need is 2 teaspoons. Natural oil is way better than capsules!
