Weigh In

Another bad weigh in... I'm 178.1, which means I gained 1.3 lbs again this week. Super! That would make it 2.6 in 2 weeks. Bad, bad, bad.

There's no fluke with this gain. I haven't been working out and I haven't been caring about what I have been eating. I am severely lacking motivation...

Didn't I say that last week that I was going to get back on track this week? What happened there?

I need to get my ass in gear. What's the hold up? In a month, am I going to be happy if I am still the same weight? Do I like seeing the scale go up? Do I like telling all of you that I'm gaining each week?

The answer to all these questions is noooo. No.

I hear ya. I lost motivation for months. Now, I am slowly getting it back. Once you lose it... man! it is hard to find again.

Get back to it.
Don't let it slide any longer
Get to the gym, start counting calories and kick you butt back into gear!

You can do it!!! track, eat healthy, workout, sometimes all it takes is just one GREAT day and everything feel attainable again. (getting back to motivated mode again)

Been there, done that almost 6 years ago. then I found a way to get back. I started going to an exercise class, not the gym. I went to a scheduled class and exercised with the same people every week. We became friends and they were active friends. Rather than doing things on my own, I had a "social" reason to go to class. We could complain to each other, but we kept going to chat and see each other. We would go for coffee after class all sweaty, but these girls became my best friends. Thats how I did it. Six years later, I have kept 115 lbs. off and have active friends to do it with.

Okay, you can do it! Remember, ones fall and winter come around, losing weight will be even harder! Use the sunshine and the time spent outside, use the abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables! Right now, there is nothing but yourself holding you back.

I feel your pain too, I'm sat here surfing blogs rather than getting my fit hit. Grrr, when will I fall in love with exercise...?
(Sorry to moan on your blog, good luck and get out your rut soon!) xx

I am not the person to be giving motivation advice. My advice (not sure it will help), would be delving a little deeper into it to see what your block is. Maybe being at this weight is your subconscious comfortable and that is why you are sabotaging yourself into gaining weight (I know that's how it is for me). Perhaps it really just is motivation, but it might be deeper than that too. Wishing you well for the week to come!
