Before and Now Pictures

Oh boy. Ok, here is a little glimpse of me when I started and where I am now...

I  should have taken better progress pictures to be able to compare, but I don't know if I gave myself enough credit that I would actually lose much weight honestly.

I really don't have many pictures of myself at the before stage because I avoided cameras. Especially with Facebook these days, why would I want my fat pictures posted online? I didn't want all my friends who I hadn't seen in awhile to see how much I had let myself go.

So, here is a full length picture of me at my highest weight, 250. Don't you like my shawl... as if that is hiding anything.
Here is a picture of me now, about halfway to my goal, at 195ish.
I've lost 55 lbs. I've lost my double chin. And I can see my collar bone now. About 45 more to go til my goal. Right now I am a size 14-15, I don't really know. It depends on the brand, and I only have 2 pair of jeans because hopefully I won't be in this size for long.

Sorry my face isn't in the pictures, but I still want to just stay anonymous. It's not because of any of you; I think I am just still too self-conscious about everything and want this blog to stay anonymous so I can be 100% honest and not worry about it.

Attitude of Gratitude: I'm grateful I have come this far and can change the way I look.

You look SO different! It's great!

I have a picture with a RED poncho where I look ridiculous as if I was making myself look smaller!

Wow...that's a brilliant loss. You look amazing. What a great post for people like me, still plodding on hoping the outcome is going to look better. I'm just the same not wanting to put my face out - and my only reason is this silly inner fear the men I work with ( all 73 of them) would be laughing if it was clearly me and someone found it. Being anonymous feels so very much safer - and none of us mind!
Well done...wow!

Boy have you come a long way. I'm so proud of you! That is so exciting to see the difference (so encouraging too)! It's funny...all of my fat photos are just candid shots of me too (me not posing for the camera or even knowing someone was taking a picture of me). I don't blame you for wanting to be anonymous. You do what you've got to do so that you continue to be comfortable being honest on your blog and continue getting to your goal. Maybe at your goal, you can do a reveal post. :) Keep it up!

WOW!!! You look amazing!!! I'd say smaller than a 14/15 - you must be very toned and all... I weigh similar, but not look that slim! You're doing a great job!

You are doing great!

I only have 2 pairs of jeans in my current size as well, recently I have been buying only dresses and leggings.

Hopefully you will get to buy new pants soon!

Wow! Awesome work! It is definately obvious how well you've done. That's been my big regret was I never took progress pictures along my journey.

Wow, good for you!! You look way smaller than 195! 55 lbs is a major accomplishment that millions of people never achieve. I hope you are super proud of yourself. Keep up the great work.
I have no photos on my blog either. For a couple of reasons. First of all is I have very few before pictures, mostly I am hiding behind someone or something. Secondly, and most important, I have written some very personal things on my blog about my ex and I hope my child never finds out those things about her dad.
