Since it's my sister's birthday, she gets to decide dinner and her cake for tomorrow. Dinner will be at a teppan grill, which is nice because it is fun and also healthy. The cake? Not so much.
Her cake is going to be... white confetti cake with butter cream frosting. With strawberries and crumbled Oreos on the sides and a Rocky Road type of concoction on top; mini marshmallows, crumbled ice cream cone, peanuts, and hot fudge.
Yep, that's what she came up with! Oh and she wants to make brownies too, like for during the day or something. And you guys thought I might be exaggerating about her love of junk food...
Anyway, I've already lost some weight this week and do not want to screw it up with this absurd cake so I will have a teeny tiny piece and that's it.
Attitude of Gratitude: We went out for frozen yogurt tonight at this new place in town, and I have so missed guilt free frozen yogurt, so thumbs up for that.

wow, that cake sure is filled with a lotta sweets! (although i must admit that the description is not quite as unappealing to me as i'd like it to be...) :P i'm sure you'll continue making mindful decisions. keep up the good work!!
You know - it almost sounds sickening. I have pretty much been off the sweets for a while and I have noticed that I feel better and the heat doesn't bother me so much. Cake is not worth it. Just keep your head on straight.
Seriously, I would fill up on veggies. The load a fork with a bit of everything off the cake & scarf one fat bite. Or I would at least try too!
That cake would send me into a diabetic coma!!
OMG, to be honest, I don't think I could even eat that. It sounds so gross with all the stuff mixed together! The confetti cake with frosting sounded good. Then I read further on... ick. Just keep in mind what all that junk will be doing to your body. Visualize the fat bubbling up! Sounds gross, but it helps!
Hopefully everything went okay this weekend and you stuck to the plan! Thinking of you!
